Which fields have sources?

A lot of people want to know how to make their labels change colors when there is a source attached to that field.

Since this is a family line that I am actively working on, and this line is 100% German, I changed Legacy to German just for fun.  Notice that some of the labels are red.  That means I have sources for those fields.  I am going to show you how to color the labels.  Just as a side note, if you look at the list of events down below you can tell which events have sources by looking to see if there is a book icon off to the right.  We might as well talk about all four columns while we are at it.  The first column is whether or not the event has been shared, the second column shows if you have a source, the third column shows if you have any media attached to that event and the last column will tell you if there is some sort of problem with the event.  You can click any of the screenshots to make them bigger.

So here is what you need to do.  On the main ribbon/toolbar select Options > Change Colors.  A Set Color Scheme dialog box will pop up. Select Click here to change other user-interface colors.  I changed back to English so that you can read the dialog boxes.

Here is the next dialog box you will get. Make sure you click the Other Colors tab.  The first box is Sources.  All you have to do is mouse click in the field to the right of the word Sources and you can change the color.

You can see that I changed mine to wild pink just because I could.

And here is what it looks like on the Individual’s Information Screen.
